Energy Storage

Battery

Through the acquisition of the Plant Matters Business Club’s intellectual property and assets, we own technology for the storage of excess electricity generated from solar, wind or the SEEM bio-waste to energy system. This energy is stored in a battery array which, is containerised for ease of transport and installation. Such an array is well suited to off-grid or emerging world installations.

Synthetic oil

Through the acquisition of the Plant Matters Business Club’s intellectual property and assets, we own technology to process organic waste, typically in the form of certain agricultural waste by-products (husks etc.) to extract oils which, can be stored and subsequently used for combustion.

Compressed gas

Through the acquisition of the Plant Matters Business Club’s intellectual property and assets, we own technology for the use of compressed air storage as a medium for storage of energy. Our technology is similar to the well proven uninterrupted power supply (UPS) systems used in data centres and other critical environments.

A simple solar array, wind or the SEEM bio-waste to energy system can provide power generated to create reserves of compressed air which, can be released into an air motor to generate power. This Compressed Air Energy Storage System (CAES), is simple, rugged, compact and is well suited to emerging world installations.
